7 February 2027 — Jonah's, Whale Beach NSW

Sienna Hartley
& Luca Marchetti

Cliff-top ocean view at golden hour, white linen tables on coastal terrace

Our Story

It started the way most good things do — by accident. A mutual friend's birthday in Surry Hills, a shared opinion about natural wine, and a conversation that somehow lasted until the bar closed.

Luca had just returned from a year in his family's village near Puglia. Sienna was deep in her architecture practice, sketching buildings and forgetting to eat. They met somewhere between his Italian expressiveness and her quiet Australian steadiness.

Three years of Sunday markets, coastal drives, and arguments about whether espresso needs sugar (it does not, Luca) brought them here — to a cliff-top restaurant where the ocean does most of the talking.

We would love you to be part of what happens next.

Questions & Answers

What should I wear?

Smart casual. Think coastal elegance — linen, natural fabrics, light colours. Comfortable shoes are wise as the venue has outdoor areas on uneven ground. Leave the stilettos at home.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Please refer to the name(s) on your invitation. If it says 'and guest', absolutely bring someone. If it's just your name, we hope you understand — we're keeping it intimate.

Is there parking at the venue?

Yes, Jonah's offers valet parking. There is also limited street parking along Bynya Road, but we recommend the valet given the winding coastal roads.

When should I RSVP by?

We'd love your response by 15 December 2026 so we can finalise numbers with the venue. The sooner the better — it helps us sleep at night.

Are children welcome?

We adore your little ones, but this is an adults-only celebration. We hope you can arrange care and enjoy a night off.

What happens if it rains?

Jonah's has beautiful indoor spaces with the same stunning ocean views. The ceremony will move inside seamlessly. Sydney in February is usually kind to us.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We've asked our photographer to capture everything, so we'd love an unplugged ceremony — phones away, eyes on us. After the ceremony, snap away.
